But you can never leave.

A hotel in the midst of a crack in time and space... otherwise known as California. Within the blink of an eye, entire rooms may shift from 1930s to 1980s without the ghostly waiters and waitresses missing a step or dropping a glass. Reality wobbles to and fro, having odd effects on some foods and even changing characters' physical traits for seemingly no reason. Characters are pulled from all across the dimensions, and find themselves checked into a hotel they may have never even heard of before. But, of course, you can always try to check out... but you never really leave Hotel California.
